The 2018 Beef Expo organised by The National Beef Association is to be held at Halls Shrewsbury Livestock Auction Centre this year on the 25th of May.
The annual NBA Beef Expo which is held at a different venue every year, is the leading UK event for British beef producers. Exhibitors from all of over the UK will be attending the Beef Expo and it attracts many International visitors too.
The Beef Expo held in Shrewsbury this year, will showcase the top British commercial and pedigree cattle as well as providing knowledge-sharing and offers everyone in the beef industry to be involved in show classes.
This years Beef Expo will include the National Commercial Cattle Show and The South Devons Technical Performance Championships.
There are 125 exhibitors showcasing everything from cattle equipment to rural clothing. Alongside that you can expect the usual breed society displays and catch up on industry news and innovations.

10.00 – Beef Expo Seminars Begin
14.00 – NCCS Championships
14.30 – Stand Competition Results Announced – Three Beef Expo farm tour hosts will be visiting the indoor, outdoor and breed society trade stands throughout the day to assess the best stand for 2018. The stands will be judged on the information available and their overall appearance. The NBA stand will announce the winner.
15.00 – The South Devons Technical Performance Championships – The show will judge cattle breed from Breedplan performance recorded herds, taking into consideration both their performance figures and inspection. The performance championships is a great fit with this years Beef Expo theme of “Beef Up Our Future” showcasing the value to the industry of using EBV’s to improve your beef herd.
15.30 – Beef Farmer Competition Results – To enter the Beef Farmer Competition pick up an entry form from the NBA, stand number 87. There are some fantastic prizes up for grabs and the prestigious Frank Momber trophy. The winner will be announced from the NBA stand.
