The Agrismart Major Solar Powered Pump is a complete solar water system contained in a sealed box providing a completely automated water infrastructure, designed for sites where there is no power close to the natural water source.
The Major Solar Powered Pump is our most powerful and largest solar water system designed in situations where larger volumes of water are needed to be delivered quickly and consistently.
The system is designed on the principle it is more cost-effective to store water than power. Running on the most advanced solar technology on the market the Major system is capable of pumping up to 4000 litres an hour over distances up to 2000m and to a height of 160m above the water source.

It is ideal for industries such as agriculture, golf course irrigation, large public garden irrigation, caravan parks, food processing and water transfer in the construction industry.
The Major water pump is part of our range of renewable energy water pumps in a box that can include water treatment to ensure water quality.
The system provides a complete water infrastructure across the whole farm or property by pumping to a suitably sized bladder tank located at the highest point on the property. When the solar is engaged the pump will fill the tank, even on cloudy days.
By sizing the tank correctly there is always more water than is needed on a daily basis to maintain a consistent supply when there is no sun.
The water is treated with chlorine dioxide to kill all bacteria automatically using digital flow meters, the more water is pumped the more treatment will be administered.
We only use the best pumps which are protected by dry run protection in case the water source runs dry. The pumps will automatically shut off if the tank is full and restart when the tank needs water.
Automated Solar Pump in a Box
Our water systems come in secure boxes making them almost impossible to steal. They have their own power supply and protection against frost and heat and come in with a range of power supplies from 12v up to 3 Phase.
The major system is ideal for farms that practice rotational grazing as fields can be easily split into smaller lots each with its own easy to move water trough.
The system can also be connected to any existing pipework in buildings on the property providing water with much higher pressure at the outlet than most mains supplies.
