The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund is part of the Farming Investment Fund as well as The Farming Transformation Fund.
The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund is a reformed version of the previously available small productivity grants scheme but has been improved and adapted in line with farmers feedback.
The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund is open for application to farmers, growers and foresters (including related contractors) grants are available to improve productivity and for the enhancement of the natural environment.
What The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund is for
The grant is available to provide a contribution towards the cost of new farming equipment and technology from an approved list.
The items that are eligible for funding application have all been agreed upon in consultation with industry groups to meet the relevant criteria to support the following objectives:
- Improve productivity in agriculture
- Improve Animal Health and Welfare
- Support more sustainable pesticide usage
- Improvement in air and water quality
- Reduce GHG emissions in line with Net Zero targets
- Reduction in unsustainable water abstraction
- Improve the sustainable management of woodlands
Funding for specific items on the Farming and Technology Fund list Annex 3 of acceptable items of equipment. Items must be purchased through a manufacturer or supplier and not self-built.
The item purchased by grant funding must also conform to regulation and have the recognised CE OR UKCA marking and appropriate manufacture date.

The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund Rainwater Harvesting System
As part of our rainwater harvesting system, we also fit one of our range of solar powered water pumps and pipes so you can distribute the water to exactly where you need it on the farm.
Pumps and pipes can be sized to provide more pressure and flow rate than mains water supply, and our pressure control system can be incorporated, enabling crop sprayers to fill much faster.

Agrismart has developed a pressure control system designed to work with our renewable energy pumps, ensuring constant water pressure across all water outlets on the farm or buildings.
Tank Low Level Alarm
The Agrismart Tank Low Level Alarm is designed to send a text alert when there is a problem with the water level in your tank. It works in conjunction with our auto pump controller which tells the pump to stop when the tank is full.
Auto Pump Controller
Our Auto Pump Controller makes our renewable energy pump a completely automated water pumping system. Using the water pipe allows us to automatically stop and start a water pump with ease over a large distance.
